About National Power Supply
In National Power Supply we know that power is not an easy thing to make. Making your car go as fast as it does is a function of a series of explosions turning your engine over and over and over again. How much more that has to happen, then, for a larger, heavier vehicle that has to bear many burdens.
But that’s something that’s needed, and that’s originally how we got our start in this business. Unlike cars, with their financing plans and their ability to be traded out and back in again, larger vehicles are too specialized and too necessary to be taken off their duties for that long.
So we got into the business, basically remanufacturing the diesel engines that these larger vehicles needed. And that was when we noticed something else as well.
Larger businesses tend to have their needs met as far as having a source of back up power in the event of inclement weather. They care about their bottom line that much, and they do what they can to keep the offices open all the time.
Small businesses have the same kind of bottom line to worry about. Unlike the larger businesses, however, they can’t really afford the time lost. That kind of financial impact is much stronger on a smaller company, and it can represent substantial loss.
So, we opened ourselves up to the idea of helping out small businesses with back up power supplies. And then we thought even smaller and began to scale our production for residences as well.
And we’ve been at it ever since.
